Jurors: The Curator of Gallery 831 and GVAL member, Juan Carrera and Clayspace Resident Artist/ Instructor and GVAL member, Todd Hickerson.

The German Village Art League presents its 2nd Annual All Member Exhibition, "Illuminating Art". This show will exhibit over 45 small works from 26 GVAL members representing their personal style. Each piece displayed is smaller than 22"x22" and priced for the perfect Christmas gift. Food donations provided by Jimmy V's German Village.

Artwork Submissions

Submission Deadline: November 15th, 2010

GVAL offers its members the opportunity to submit 2 images of which one will be chosen for the All Member Exhibition.

Visual Artwork Submission Guidelines
1.   Each artist may submit 2 .jpeg files of 2d and or 3d work made by the artist   and is work created within the last year.  1 piece will be chosen.
2.   • 2d works must be smaller than 22"(h)x 22”(w).
      • 3d work must be smaller than 22”(h) x 22”(w)x 22”(w) and can be presented on a pedestal.
3.   Title each jpeg "lastname1.jpeg" ex:"ross1.jpeg, ross2.jpeg, etc.
4.   Each submission should be in jpeg format and no larger than 5"x7" 200ppi.
5.  Complete full entry form and email artwork to entry@gvartleague.com.
6.  German Village Art League Members Only.($20 membership)

Gallery 831 takes 30% commission of sales during this exhibition. GVAL takes 0% commission.

By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The German Village Art League(GVAL) the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition, marketing the GVAL's programs and subsequent display on the GVAL website (current or past exhibitions). Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the affiliated exhibitors and organizations. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use of image.

German Village Art League and Gallery 831 are not responsible for damage, storage and delivery of work if you do not pick up your art on or before pick up date.

**Artists must pick up their work since GVAL does not have a storage or gallery location. The artwork MUST be acquired before 4:00pm Oct, 23rd, 2010. **See artists application for details on the visual artists pick up responsibility.

Gallery 831

The gallery has hosted more than a dozen exhibits featuring the work of local artists and students. The space is available for private and group shows, parties and meetings. Clayspace - Student Show Dec. 17th  7-9pm -open to the public

Clayspace is a fully equipped ceramic studio offering artists of all ages and levels of experience a comfortable and supportive environment to explore their creative potential. Clayspace provides a unique venue to relax with friends, meet new people, share thoughts and ideas, and create personal works of art with clay. Clayspace is in the back of Gallery 831.
